“Helen has the magic touch, no one else can get that carefree natural "remember me" feeling in their photographs like she can. Helen has taken photographs of us since the children were tiny. If there was a fire in the house I would pick up our precious photograph albums first. She has captured our lives, with all our funny mannerisms and characteristics in the most clever and artlful way. It all looks so effortless — how clever is that?”
“When we got engaged, there was one thing I knew for certain and that was we wanted Helen Venables to be our photographer, having seen the fantastic pictures she’s done for friends’ weddings. The service offered is amazing, although seems clinical to call it a ‘service’ as Helen’s way of working means you always feel at ease and this was echoed by the guests. The result is a brilliant photojournalistic style diary of the day, which captures all the most important moments as well as all the candid moments, you would miss in the blink of an eye. Helen not only has the most amazing eye for detail on the day but the care and attention given to compiling the album is second to none, leaving you with a priceless reminder of your special day.”
After spending months sifting through all of the wedding photographers on the internet, I finally found Helen.
For my wedding, Helen took the time out to understand exactly what we wanted. By getting to know us before the big day and just listening, Helen was like a friend on the day who discreetly flittered from capturing one magical moment to another without us even knowing she was there!
The photos were just amazing. The real proof that everybody felt so comfortable with her being there!
Then I had two children and just had to get in touch with the best black and white photographer to capture those moments that fly by so quickly. I invited Helen to our home in the South of France where, yet again it was like greeting an old friend. The children just love her and the photos are simply incredible!
Thanks for capturing the most important moments so perfectly Helen. As far as I'm concerned, as I've told you, you're the best photographer and a real artist! I'm always left speechless with tears in my eyes with your work!”
